He-Man Is Back at the App Store

It’s coming back! One of the most powerful games in the Universe is ready to stun gamers once again. Most of the contemporary gamers do not even remember He-Man cartoon that was popular in 1980’s. The nostalgic version of He-Man is available for only 0, 99$ apiece in the App Store. It can be played on a touch screen with only two fingers, because the gameplay requires nothing but dragging your character right or left to kill all of the skeletons (and other creatures) with axes. The control set-up is rather stiff and not so responsive, which causes a lot of troubles with enemies that cannot be killed with only one hit. He-Man is bound to lose health points by walking through them, because there is no way of jumping over them in the game.
It really makes it look like an ancient game, but that is quite irritating if you want to be as invincible as He-Man was in his cartoon. The game is not intended to be extremely hard; it is designed for having fun in the cartoony environment, which makes it rather unique in the contemporary world of games. The game has strong emphasis on nostalgic aspect, as there are so many features from the old times appearing through the captivating journey of He-Man in Eternia. For instance, there are covers of the comic books, sketches and other drawings, photos, the products on early stage of their development and simply everything that could evoke some nostalgic feelings. Its modest price and nostalgic aspect make the game unique and standalone, but issues with control set-up will never allow it to achieve the highest ranks in the App Store.

Oh this is fun! I watched He-Man with my children back in the day. I’d love a good live action film. So I’m off to IMDb to make a list of who I’d cast. I’ll link to it after I’ve made it. This is fun!
Man! I remember watching this as a toddler! This guy was my favorite hero!
