Escape Goat 2 Offers New Puzzles and a Catchy Art Style

A well-known puzzle-platformer, Escape Goat is actually planning to disclose a brand new sequel. Several sources state that in general the game will remain unchanged, so it applies to a platforming goat, single-screen puzzle rooms and an adorable mouse sidekick. However, gamers will see the new graphics; at least Randy O’Connor is currently working on it.
Advanced gamers are already aware of the fact that the first game featured a level editor. By now, Ian Stocker doesn’t know for sure whether it makes sense to attach the level editor to the upcoming release or not. From the official announcement one can learn that the developers haven’t decided this yet and the worst thing is that gamers will be probably kept waiting for a month or so and this delay is almost inevitable.
Secondly, there’s a high probability that the developers will include the level editor after the sequel’s launch, though this stuff may also find itself in the version 1.0. Frankly speaking the developers don’t have any solid reasons to suspend that option. For instance, they point out to a number of admirable user-created levels for Escape Goat 1. It’s sad that the vast majority of players don’t know where they could get those levels. Perhaps, they need to go to magicaltimebean.com/forum and click my forum there.
Apart from the new art style, gamers will be able to taste extra hats and it’s going to drastically reinforce the regular power-up known as a magic hat. This year the sequel is likely to come out though the original Escape Goat 1 is definitely worth to get familiar with too.

I was one of the beta testers (my name’s in the credits and everything), and I think it’s a fantastic game. Wasn’t sure what to expect before the beta started ’cause I hadn’t played it on Xbox, but was pleasantly surprised on the whole. Solid beta too – personally never came across any bugs, though apparently some of the other tests helped squash some.
Game’s very fun too, from what i’ve played so far
